small bkdk thread to start my 2020 posting, maybe i'll add more idk. this is more idea than a proper ficlet lololol

AU (no quirks), bkdk meet cute(? sorta???), when they're grown ass adults. if someone who knows how to do social media AUs and did this i would love you 5ever

so! bkdk are fans in the all might fandom, a slightly older, obscure anime/manga that they loved as kids (even if no one else they talked to was into it. it's probably a seinen and they stayed up really late to watch it) and is getting a reboot.

and their small lil twitfandom is going wild. someone suggests doing a charity zine to be released when the first episode of the reboot airs and bkdk apply and get in! izuku is a writer and katsuki is an artist and they're paired up to create this amazing 3.5k word fic and art masterpiece.

They only know each other's handles. BKG-bakushinichi, IZK-deku

they don't get along great at first – izuku is friendly enough, readily admits that he's been a fan of bakushinichi for years. like... actual fucking years, three social media platforms and even back in the oooollld days where deku lied about his age to get into a restricted All Might fan forum when he was still in jr high (Katsuki lied too lololol).

Katsuki wants none of that bs, had shot down all of Izuku's suggestions as too kid-like. They're like... 4hrs away from when they have to submit their final ideas to the zine staff and Izuku finally admits that he did have another idea he liked but didn't want to broach it because he wasnt sure if Katsuki would handle it...

And BKG took it as a challenge, and wants to hear it.

izuku had an idea for a tasteful but dark ship piece between All Might and the main villain AFO.

and katsuki absolutely /loves/ it, is hella estatic to try something that dark and angst riddled.

in the mean time, offline and in the real world:

BKG is a famous chef/model and is constantly sketching in his free time (he is a bastard of many talents). not sure what would be better – if izuku is a seiyuu and plays All Might's new sidekick in the reboot or if he's the writer for the new manga or an engineer they live in the same city and take the same train at the same time like two or three times the week and thrist tweet about each other, kind of randomly within their fandom twitters.
