Omegaverse Sexism BNHA AU

#threadsave omegaverse CN: BkDk, omegaverse, omegaverse brand of sexism, talks of abortions, shitty laws, not quite NSFW but there's references sex.

Izuku stared at the pink plus sign, thoughts for once slowed to a halt as Kacchan sucked in a surprised breath.

“We have to abort it,” the alpha said quickly. Izuku blinked out of his daze and looked at his partner. “There's got to be a clinic we can go to, someone discrete but clean that would be willing to keep it from your record.”

“The nearest one is in Minato ward,” Izuku snapped back automatically, “and its operated by the government.”

Katsuki cursed, already pacing around his room. “Overseas?”

“How are we going to get approved time away from U.A.? I'm sure they'd ask why we would want a leave of absence.”

“Deku you can't have it, the law says-”

“I know exactly what the law says about people like me.” It was more snappy than Izuku had meant, but it got the alpha to shut up. The laws in Japan were perfectly clear – abortions had been criminalized after the quirk wars almost 150 years ago and omegas with children were restricted in the types of jobs they were legally allowed to have. Heroics, for obvious reasons, was not a field the government approved of.

They had been so fucking careful – condoms and spermicides (which are so hard to get and expensive) and dealing with heats and ruts alone and one fucking mistake was going to kill Izuku's career before it even got a chance to begin. Izuku startled when he felt Katsuki come up behind him and wrap him in a hug.

“We're gonna figure this out nerd, your hard work ain't fuxking ending here.”

It was one thing, bucking laws on quirks to save lives, but to Izuku, it seemed impossible to break the ones on his secondary gender. There was no way out of it and-

“I can hear your fucking mumbling idiot.” Katsuki got up after another hug and started to tug on his shoes. “I'm going to talk to All Might, see what international schools take transfers in countries that aren't fuxking whack. Then we can decide for ourselves if we want to keep the parasite or not on our own.”
