So I was writing this down in my rocketbook except I'm an idiot who didn't close the cover and didn't realize the water bottle

So! Gonna try to recreate what I wrote here editing in process!!!

Notes

• a world where humanity as we know it is gone, and the planet is inhabited by persons with animal-like ears and tails, along with other animal-like features
• 6 elements: jewel (red); fire (orange), breeze (yellow), wood (green), water (blue), aurora (violet)
• 6 sub elements: jewel + fire = mountain, fire + breeze = lightning, breeze + wood = ???, wood + water = earth, water + aurora = lake, aurora + jewel = heaven
• aurora = light & darkness; jewel is vaguely the empty / potential element
• people who (cultivates? uses magic? has powers) generally have one to two main elements. some people of exceptional lineages may have more, there is only one family known to produce people proficient in all 6 elements.
• most people are either positive bent or negative bent, except for aurora users (always negative) and fire (always positive). it's like a charge
• some people learn stringent spells through schools or a master, others can perform supernatural feats without training
• some people have religion / pantheons, others do not. some claim that their abilities are granted by gods and evoke those names to perform magic as part of their school of magic use
• everyone has a core and the potential to use magic however some people need to train their core to do so. others have cores large and powerful enough to use magic without learning (intrinsic magic users).
• Electronics and communications run on magic (generally a combination of ambient magic and jewels used as reactors/batteries). there are some places that can interfere with phones, either because it's a dead zone where magic waves cannot penetrate or it has too high a concentration of ambient magic. In dead zones other electronics will not work or barely work with a strong enough jewel battery, while in high concentration zones other electronics can effectively run perpetually.

Albrun

One of the numerous schools of magic now, focusing on alchemy and spell creation. Upon completion of studies, students gain a tymnia, a wand like item that transform into other things and help focus spells.

stupid fuxjing zombies

Idk I had a weird dream and now the idea won't leave me alone where aiva and a friend who's from some really stupid rich and genius family are at a shuttle launch but something fucks up and there were zombies on board and they bug out before things actually start . When they're going across state boarders they're forced to take a new military/police recruit (his boss says it's officially to “protect important civilians on their way” but in reality the kid has been on the job for like a week and his boss already knows shit is gonna get bad based on what the public doesn't know and is like “nah kid you're getting out of here). So Aiva, her friend, and a greenhorn who's younger/weaker than her have to deal with the start od thr zombie apocalypse while trying to both get to where they need to go and figure out how to stop the apocalypse before it gets too bad

upon looking back it would be better to have there be positive/negative for both fire and aurora. because for my idea to work wood + earth it will look something like:

Water + Wood – Breeze + Fire – Jewel + Auora (– Water)

Water + Wood = Earth Wood – Breeze = ??? Breeze + Fire = Lightning FIre – Jewel = Mountain Jewel + Aurora = Heaven Aurora – Water = Ice

Possibly switch earth and wood but i'd still have no idea what is between wood/earth and breeze
