Very few people know this but Bakugou has a bird. And not just any bird, but Bakusatsukotori! The most bad ass fucking bird, a parrot that knew curse words (and most of them were the hag's fault!). He was the best... except one thing.

Any time Deku came by his house, for any reason, that stupid bird would start cooing at the nerd and call him cute! And only Deku! Anyone else, Bakustatsukotori would insult to the moon and back (including him) but was so sweet on Deku.

It was infuriating. Especially when his mom started cackling as Katsuki tried and failed to shut the bird up.

So long as the shitnerd doesnt come by, his bird was the most ferocious pet on the block so visits became sparse unless necessary.

The original plan was that Bakustatsukotori died while they were in junior high and Izuku was the only one he invited to his bird's funeral. Alternatively, something happens and Bakusatsukotori has to live in the dorms and everyone is terrified of him until Izuku shows up and The damn bird flies over to him to cuddle and coo about what a cute nerd he is. Izuku's ears turn red but he takes it in stride because he's learned from Auntie that the reason why Little Bird Explosion Murder is like that is because Katsuki is like that in private too.
