So im thinking KD was nearly killed by SP. Not knowing that SP and YJH are separate entities he has a great need to defeat YJH... not knowing that YJH is younger than him.

KD deciding in the end that he will be a dragon of earth because he's given up on humanity
He's lived so long and nearly any good point of his life is tainted by SP ruining it. He didn't want to deal with the end of the world but decided that if he has to, he'll join thr “bad guys”, let YJH be the hero
YJH is not happy about this

Anyways! KD is an office worker. Just an office worker. He tells himself he's not the messiah, that he's normal and doesn't have unfathomable powers at his finger tips (he doesn't think about the night his father died, or how a seemingly older YJH ripped a sword out of his mother's stomach). He's just... normal. He even ends up making a friend or two, Yoo Sangah from HR who pulls him into being social once or twice a week with her friends
It works until YJH comes back to Seoul, when inexplicable “terrorist attacks” start ravaging the city (but he knows its not bombs, he can see the magic barriers getting weaker and the dark flames destroying from the inside).
HSY drops a bombshell that she and YS are dragons of heaven and he's the messiah that will help save all of humanity from destruction. He also meets Anna Croft, a dragon of earth who tells him that he could also join their side and destroy humanity to save the planet.
HSY and AC hate each other lmao. Things happen and the moment KD finds out that YJH's destiny is tied with his own, he... takes a step towards thr dragons of earth. He gives a wry smile to YS and the other DoH he's met, tell them to take care of YJH, and walks away
He's supposed to be the harbinger of destruction but AC realizes rather quickly that KD has no ambition towards that. He just plays with Yoosung and Donghoon and avoids Myung Ilsang like the plague
Namwoon: “wanna destroy Daehangno with me???” KD: “hmm nah I rather just read thr new serialization instead”
On the other side, the DoH also has an uncooperative messiah who would rather do things on his own than work with them
KD has set it up to a tee. Make YJH the protagonist and him the antagonist so that he doesn't have to hurt anyone he cares about
