I wanna talk about this au with someone and not on my own / into the void but idk who wants to hear about post-apocalyptic polyship shenanigans (past bkdk that still love each other but have grown apart, maybe tdmm in the past to bkmm, idk who izuku gets with, maybe Hawks? Mei?)

i'm gonna tweet more about this in a bit but i kind of binged watched 7Seeds – tl;dr, before a meteorite hits the earth, 5 sets of 7 people in japan get kidnapped and cryogenically preserved to make sure humanity survives. no plan to copy the dynamics but! in the series one group wakes up 15 years before the “main” team, and of the 7 people only one survived (on his own, with his pet wolves) until he meets up with the first crew the audience is introduced to. so im thinking bkdk where Bakugou is on a team with Momo who wakes up first, everyone else dies and the two become co-dependent, sure that their lovers are out there since they find some info about the project, but not sure which team or when they might wake up (or if they even survived since some of their team died due to issues with being frozen) and idk the thought of it has stayed with me. so when deku wakes up and eventually meets up with Kacchan (because All Might spends the time before humanity is destroyed in the present to get all the info he can so when Izuku wakes up he has access to his memories so he KNOWS Kacchan is okay) it's a shock 'cause Kacchan is suddenly just shy of twice his age, has experiences he doesn't know and Izuku is insanely jealous of Momo but also really upset that the two had no one but each other for so long. i'm currently trying to figure out who else is gonna survive this AU

'm honestly not sure what end game is gonna be especially since part of the point is to repopulate the earth by having babies so I can totally see bkdk still being in love but not sure of their status. As far as bakumomo? I always liked their dynamic so the idea of the two Learning to survive and catching feelings over the years gets me, esp if there's times when they wonder “do I actually like them or is it just because it feels like we're the last two people on earth” angst

okay so writing bits and pieces for this AU (lowkey might make write it as a proper fic?) and... i don't wanna kill anyone. but i have to kill people. also considering making it omegaverse because omegaverse would help with the whole “gotta repopulate the earth but we only have 14 female students who are canonical” and also some high key angst. idk, thoughts? yes omegaverse 81% no omegaverse 19% 21 votes · Final results
