It starts just days after the Paranormal Liberation War. Nezu apologizes for pulling Aizawa and All Might away from looking over their recovering charges but what he had to say was too important to wait. While mayhem was happening near and in Jaku, scientists had noticed a massive meteorite heading on a collision course with the earth. Theres not much time and it was decided by the Japanese government and the Hero Commission to have hero students be be perceived via cryogenics to preserve the human race. They would be the last ditch effort to make sure humanity continues into the future. Neither AM or Eraser takes it well, doesn't like the idea of their students being put into experimental machines, likes even less the idea of splitting up friends, of choosing who might live and might die when they've spent so long making sure they get to graduation. It doesn't matter what their thoughts are though because decisions have been made at the top while they were fighting for their lives and the options are to go with it or be detained until the commission does what it wants.
There's 4 teams, each made up of 6 + one adult pro who will be a guide of sorts, plus a seventh team made up of a mix of other people. Aizawa, and Eri, are to be put on that one. The public will be informed that students and pros who disappear
